Plaid silk ‘scarfettes’
I love the idea of repurposing materials to create something new and beautiful. These scarfettes are created out of hand-dyed silk that was leftover from a wholesale order and found again in my bin of scraps. The silk has been repurposed into two stunning scarfettes and I'm thrilled that I was able to give new life to the silk instead of letting it go to waste.
Scarfettes are made of two pieces sewn together.
See the FAQ page for information on how to clean scarf.
Each item is constructed by hand in my Beacon studio. As with any handmade item, pieces have slight inconsistencies, and variations in color and texture are intentional - I love that this makes every item unique.
Proudly sewn and dyed in Beacon, NY located in the Hudson Valley. Wear often, repair if possible, pass on or recycle when no longer loved.
