INDIGO SILK SCARF ONE-OFF
I love the idea of repurposing materials to create something new and beautiful. Recently, I made a scarf out of hand-dyed silk that was leftover from a made-to-order dress. It's a stunning piece and I'm thrilled that I was able to give new life to the silk instead of letting it go to waste.
Scarf features lightweight cotton quilt batting for a cozy and warm feel and is
7 1/2" wide by 66" long. Only one was made.
See the FAQ page for information on how to clean scarf.
Each item is constructed by hand in my Beacon studio. As with any handmade item, pieces have slight inconsistencies, and variations in color and texture are intentional - I love that this makes every item unique.
Proudly sewn and dyed in Beacon, NY located in the Hudson Valley.
Wear often, repair if possible, pass on or recycle when no longer loved.
